So we're just a day or so away from a new President... Finally. I'm very excited but I'm also very leery of the whole ordeal. Is that bullet proof glass he's sitting behind every time I see him in front of a large crowd? That was of course rhetorical. It's just a shame that for the next 4-8 years he's going to have to watch his back because some narrow-minded hillbillies can't see him for anything other than a black guy. Half-black guy. Who looks more white than black. And talks like The Rock from the WWE which is right up a hillbilly's alley in the form of entertainment.

But once he's in and running the show it's going to make a lot of Americans proud to be here for the first time in 6 years. Because Bush wasn't that bad until '03 when we went to Iraq and the lies began pouring in. And the economy began going to shit. And the approval ratings sunk like rocks. There was the Cheney hunting incident that also stands out in my mind as complete idiocy and surely made the world think highly of us. In other hillbilly news, my school is OPEN tomorrow for MLK day which will mark the first time ever that I've worked or gone to school on the day. I don't even think the mail runs tomorrow and I have class.

Tough cookies I suppose, Tuesday is gonna be a dandy.

I can't wait.

I see alot more businesses staying open on MLK day now. I suppose as people realize that race isn't an issue unless they keep talking about it, then the work the Rev. did will slowly be remembered less (but never forgotten). Don't know if it's a good or bad thing.
